Aswan Science and Technology Bulletin (ASTB)is an innovative, open access peer-reviewed multidisciplinary-research journal publishing original high-quality research and review articles. It is published by the Faculty of Science, Aswan University, Egypt, issued twice a year, June and December, and has international editorial board members.
The journal was issued in printed form for the first time in 1979 and re-issued electronically in December 2023 with a new editorial board and reviewers team from different nationalities.
A cover letter should be attached declaring that the article is original & it is not submitted elsewhere, the source of funding and the three reviewers’ contact details whom not be in any conflict of interest with the authors in terms of institution, research and funding.
Plagiarism: The journal has a strict policy against plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism. Submitted manuscripts with an unacceptable similarity index exceed 20% are rejected immediately. Manuscripts that passed plagiarism checking, are subjected to revision by qualified reviewers. Manuscripts should meet the internationally accepted criteria and should follow the style of the journal for both reviewing and editing. Authors from other universities and scientific institutions inside and outside Egypt are very welcome to submit manuscripts.
The journal reserves the right to edit all manuscripts for its style and space requirements and for the purpose of clarity. The Editorial Board reserves the right to make the final decision on publication.
Copyright policy: The journal allows the author(s) to hold the copyright, and to retain publishing rights without any restrictions.
